She came of a brahmin family of Kammāsadamma and entered the Order after hearing the Buddha preach the Mahā Satipatthāna Sutta.
For seven years she showed a craving for gifts and honours and was quarrelsome. But later she put forth effort and became an Arahant (ThigA.i.89).
Some verses ascribed to her are found in the Therīgāthā, vs.92-6.
